Over fifty people killed and at least 53 others injured in a mass shooting incident at a prominent gay club at Orlando,Florida, United States of America (USA) Saturday night.
The US authorities considered the Pulse night club shooting as worst in the history of America after the 9/11 bombing in New York last September 2006.
US president Barack Obama considered the incident as an “act of terror and hate” in a press briefing several hours after the shooting, even Pope Francis condemned the incident in his homily at Vatican.
Meanwhile, several groups of Lesbian Bisexual Gays and Transgenders (LGBT) around the globe cry for seeking justice and calling the equal rights of the sector because on the initial investigation pointing the shooting as a form of hate crime.
The supporters and allies of LGBT, attended prayer vigil in various parts of the world to show love and respect to the victims and casualties of the incident.
The suspect identified as Omar Mateen, frequently visits the said club and even called 911 to give his allegiance to the world terrorist group, Isis, before the shooting happened according to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) director James Comey.
In an interview, Sitora Yusifiy, former wife of Mateen reveals that the latter is not comfortable with the homosexuals that might a reason in committing the killings.
Meanwhile, Ed Henson, owner of the gun shop, where Mateen buy the gun he utilized to the crime, defended its decision to sold guns to the suspect and said they conducted background check before they sold the firearms.
The shooting revived the searing issue and debates over gun control and gender equality that both currently on top of concern of legislation in US.
