Amid the fatal shooting in Dallas, an intensified heroism stories of the police officers who are killed and injured in the recent bloodbath came out.
The protesters shared their experiences of the shooting that wrote another deadly history in America, they claimed that the Dallas police officers were secured the crowd safety when shooting occurs.
Black Lives Matter protesters highly condemned the violence and vowed to press forward to change.
“This is tragedy-both for those who have been impacted by the attack and for our democracy,” the group said in a statement.
According to the Dallas police department, the casualties of the incident rose to five after the two officers in a critical condition died, while seven are injured.
Meanwhile, officials identified army veteran, Micah Johnson, 25, as the gunman and appears acted alone the attack.
Dallas police chief David Brown said in a briefing, Johnson was killed by a police-controlled robot bomb after a standoff with law authorities and the latter told the negotiators that he had no group affiliation.
Furthermore, negotiators also said that the suspect was upset to the various killings to black people by police authority.
The shooting comes in the center of national debates over racial disparities on criminal justice system and use by force of police.
US president Barack Obama condemned the attack and even called it as “vicious, calculated and despicable.” He also cut short his trip to NATO summit in Europe to visit Dallas.
The Dallas incident is considered as the worst police shooting in the American history.
