Niantic Inc. on Wednesday that popular ever smash hit augmented-reality game is available in Germany, as the first country on the continent to gain official access to the app.
It was reported that Pokemon Go game was first launched on July 6 and readily available in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand.
Pokemon Go hits to the top of app-store charts after its July 6 debut on iOS and Android devices. People are going crazy and waiting for its release and tuned into social media feeds just to be updated on how the game app will be fully downloaded.
It is common to see brands of explorers — who are called trainers in the game — roving PokeStop to PokeStop while staring on their phones.
Many Pokemon Go players have already been playing the game across Europe by sideloading Android APKs or using a US iTunes account to obtain the game early. An official launch signifies that more people can get actively involved in the latest craze of cultural phenomenon and many will swam around buildings, public parks, and landmarks to hunt wild and rare Pokemon.
The announcement Wednesday was unexpected since Niantic, which developed “Pokemon Go” in partnership with Pokemon Co. and Nintendo Co. reported to delay the game’s international rollout after it gain server problems and were overloaded following the U.S. launch last week.
The limited rollout has upset some of the longtime Pokemon fans,like in Japan, where it is the land gave birth to the franchise. It happens that some people on Twitter said they were trying to hack the location settings on their phones just to access to the game, but that implies a not so good idea.
Niantic, didn’t immediately comment on its rollout plans.
