According to two electricians who have designed the world’s first portable turbine phone charger, lets people charge their mobile phone using wind power alone.
The generator can power up any item that requires a USB charger for power.
The device called Trinity folds together into 12-inch (30 cm) cylinder. Though the device doesn’t quite mimic the shape of your usual wind turbine, it unfolds into a vertical turbine that be used to charge USB devices.
To open the device, just pull out the aluminum legs and just arrange them like of a tripod or on a flat surface. On top of the legs there is a turbine with three blades. It captures the wind and spin, providing green energy for a generator that supplies to 15 watts of power. It has also an internal battery that can store energy for future needs.
The inventors claimed when fully-charged, the turbine can charge your phone of up to four to six times. If it will be out of power, you can charge it using the wind or plug it into a wall output.
To close it up, the legs are pushed back in and the blades will close automatically.
